Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize federal IT systems in compliance with FISMA standards
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for classified and unclassified networks
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran data
- Coordinate with federal agencies on cross-departmental IT initiatives
- Document system configurations and maintain audit trails
- Mentor junior staff on federal IT compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years experience with federal IT systems (VA/DOD/DoS)
- Certification in CompTIA Security+ or CISSP
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory
- Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance frameworks
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance within 30 days
