Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot complex federal network systems and hardware configurations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce strict federal cybersecurity protocols, including NIST compliance and data protection standards.
- Provide Level 3 technical support, troubleshooting, and training to agency personnel and stakeholders.
- Manage software licensing, system updates, and security patches for government servers and workstations.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain compliance with federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy IT systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of system configurations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional IT experience, with at least 2 years in a federal or government environment.
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, or GSEC are highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (or ability to be cleared).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-security government environment.
