Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems supporting federal agencies. You will work in a collaborative environment ensuring the security and reliability of critical data networks.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure and hardware for federal clients.
- Implement and monitor network security protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for end-users and mission-critical systems.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy IT solutions.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Familiarity with Federal IT frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA) is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cisco networking equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
