Job Summary
The Federal IT Specialist will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of federal information systems. You will work in a secure environment supporting critical infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal information systems and networks in compliance with federal security standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that meet agency requirements.
- Document all technical procedures and system changes accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Familiarity with federal regulations such as NIST, FISMA, and DIACAP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
