Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal information systems and networks.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to comply with federal standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and contractors.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage data migration projects and ensure data integrity across legacy and modern systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar federal IT security certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Experience with federal IT security protocols (NIST, FISMA, etc.) is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a suitable security clearance.
