Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Implement and monitor network security protocols to protect sensitive state data.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate IT asset inventory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure or government technology.
- Strong working knowledge of network protocols, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to obtain a State Security Clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
