Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols for federal networks and systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents and breaches in real-time.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including NIST, FISMA, and DFARS standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure system architectures.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for security operations and incident reports.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with favorable background investigation.
- US Citizenship and eligibility for government employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security or network administration.
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, Firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
