Apex Federal Solutions is a premier provider of IT and administrative support to federal agencies. We are currently seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This is a full-time opportunity to work on high-impact projects supporting critical government missions.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of federal IT standards, security protocols, and the ability to lead technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of our federal clients' information systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to mitigate risks.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system issues and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
- Prepare and present technical reports and compliance documentation to federal oversight bodies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architectural standards.
- Implement and maintain ITIL-based service management processes.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or government IT support.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance if not already possessed.
