Responsibilities
- Manage and administer federal information systems, ensuring 99.99% uptime and compliance with FISMA standards.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to protect sensitive data against cyber threats.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for end-users across multiple federal locations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions and modernize legacy infrastructure.
- Document system configurations, troubleshoot logs, and ensure strict adherence to federal regulations and policies.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for critical system maintenance and emergency response.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or cybersecurity within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and federal security frameworks (e.g., NIST).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for briefing senior leadership on technical issues.
