Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to comply with federal standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Provide expert-level technical troubleshooting and support for internal federal staff.
- Conduct system performance analysis and recommend optimization strategies.
- Prepare and submit technical reports and compliance documentation to auditors.
- Collaborate with project managers to align IT solutions with agency objectives.
- Train junior staff and stakeholders on new software and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active Top Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments.
- Proficiency with government cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure Gov).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and IT service management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening.
