Responsibilities
- Network Administration: Design, configure, and troubleshoot local and wide-area networks to ensure optimal performance and security for federal clients.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular system updates, patch management, and hardware maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols in accordance with FISMA and NIST standards to protect sensitive government data.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network architecture, configurations, and incident reports.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the deployment of new IT infrastructure projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, OR equivalent military technical experience.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+ or higher; Cisco CCNA or Microsoft MCSA preferred.
- Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in federal IT environments or network administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership and government stakeholders.
