Role Overview:
The successful candidate will provide technical support, maintenance, and configuration of federal information systems. You will work in a fast-paced environment ensuring the integrity and security of critical government data.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal hardware and software systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory services.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect federal data against cyber threats.
- Conduct regular system audits and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new IT solutions and upgrades.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate system logs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or a related federal IT role.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be willing to obtain a Public Trust (Background Check) clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Linux/Windows Server environments.
- Knowledge of federal IT security standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
