Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of core government database systems and pension software.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal and state regulations regarding data privacy and retirement plan compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize IT solutions for public sector stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive system audits, performance assessments, and risk analysis to ensure operational excellence.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members and internal government clients.
- Document technical processes and create user manuals for government agency personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government IT, pension administration, or public sector project management.
- Proven track record of managing complex IT projects and system upgrades.
- Strong understanding of retirement plans, pension structures, and government compliance standards (e.g., OMB, FISMA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, ITIL) are a plus.
