Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure and networks.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal cybersecurity policies and information assurance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve data accessibility.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate risks.
- Provide technical support and training to government staff regarding software applications and systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in federal IT environments or related government contracting roles.
- Experience with network security protocols, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and data management.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations such as NIST, FISMA, and DCID 6/9.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (or equivalent).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
