Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot federal network infrastructure during night operations.
- Monitor system performance and security alerts to ensure 100% uptime for critical government contracts.
- Perform system patches, updates, and backups in adherence to federal compliance standards.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to resolve complex technical escalations.
- Document all system changes and incidents in the CMDB.
- Ensure strict adherence to NIST security protocols and ITIL best practices.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or IT support.
- Experience working night shifts or rotating schedules is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or Palo Alto networking equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
