Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees and contractors.
- Maintain and monitor network infrastructure, hardware systems, and peripherals.
- Implement and enforce federal cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards.
- Conduct routine system audits, software updates, and security patches.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and ensure proper configuration.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in the central ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT workflows and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Information Technology preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or network administration.
- Familiarity with federal government IT systems, security clearance protocols, and NIST standards.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required by agency needs.
