Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain secure federal IT systems including cloud platforms and network infrastructure
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for veteran-facing applications and telehealth systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and compliance initiatives
- Document technical procedures and maintain system documentation
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with federal cybersecurity teams
- Mentor junior IT staff on federal compliance standards (NIST, FISMA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for enterprise-level systems
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation
