Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and user support for government personnel, resolving complex IT issues efficiently.
- Security Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to federal cybersecurity protocols, IT security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- System Modernization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, upgrade, and modernize legacy IT systems and software.
- Audit & Risk Management: Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security training to mitigate potential risks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/experience).
- Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering within a federal or regulated environment.
- Certifications: Active Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Clearance: Must be willing to undergo a government background investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Windows Server administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
