Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal agency hardware and software systems.
- Manage and maintain local and wide-area networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to comply with federal standards (NIST).
- Document system configurations, incidents, and resolutions accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Familiarity with government contracting requirements and security compliance (FISMA).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network topology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
