Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for federal clients.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive federal data and systems against cyber threats.
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to end-users and staff regarding IT systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST) and internal IT policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT modernization and infrastructure upgrades.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT systems administration or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
