Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure and networks.
- Ensure full compliance with Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and FedRAMP standards.
- Collaborate directly with federal agencies to identify technical requirements and provide innovative solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate security risks.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for complex hardware and software environments.
- Document technical architecture, processes, and incident reports in accordance with federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience working in a federal government contracting or federal IT environment.
- Professional certification such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with government stakeholders.
