Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive data and systems
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement IT solutions and improvements
- Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in IT
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects and system upgrades
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related role
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Experience with operating systems: Windows, Linux, and macOS
- Familiarity with security protocols and best practices, including NIST guidelines
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if required)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
