Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for federal agency hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Monitor server health, perform preventative maintenance, and resolve critical incidents during weekend shifts.
- Execute security patches, updates, and system configurations in compliance with federal standards (FISMA/NIST).
- Manage and maintain a high volume of service tickets in the IT Service Management system (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with the Monday team to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of service.
- Document all technical procedures, incident reports, and system changes accurately.
- Adhere to strict physical and information security protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Experience working in a government, defense, or highly regulated environment.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
