Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot federal agency hardware, software, and network systems during off-peak hours (Weekends).
- Perform routine security audits, patch management, and system backups to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor server performance and resolve technical incidents with minimal downtime.
- Assist in the configuration and deployment of new federal IT assets.
- Maintain strict compliance with federal security regulations (NIST, FISMA).
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with the on-call team to ensure seamless continuity of operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: CompTIA Security+ or higher (CISSP preferred).
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Monday) and holidays.
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to federal stakeholders.
