Responsibilities
- System Administration: Monitor and maintain local area networks and server hardware to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for end-users in a timely manner.
- Security Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security protocols and data privacy standards in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Network Support: Configure, install, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and incident reports.
- Training: Assist in the training of staff on new software applications and technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
