Role Overview:
We are looking for a technical expert to support our federal information systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of our digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain federal information systems, ensuring 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Cybersecurity: Monitor network traffic for anomalies, implement security protocols, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Technical Support: Provide Tier 3 support for hardware and software issues, resolving complex technical challenges for internal stakeholders.
- Project Management: Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure all IT activities comply with federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and agency policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: At least 3 years of progressively responsible professional experience in IT system administration or software development.
- Certifications: Active Security+ certification or higher (e.g., CISSP, CEH) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure), and Agile methodologies.
