Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal desktops, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, patch management, and hardware upgrades during off-hours.
- Monitor system logs and security alerts to identify and resolve potential vulnerabilities.
- Assist federal personnel with technical issues and software troubleshooting.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in the Service Desk database.
- Collaborate with on-call support teams to ensure 24/7 system availability.
Qualifications
- Active Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance (required).
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during weekends.
