Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) infrastructure.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot server hardware and software systems.
- Implement and monitor stringent security protocols to protect sensitive federal data and networks.
- Provide advanced technical support to end-users and resolve complex IT issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular system backups, audits, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade and optimize technology infrastructure.
- Document system configurations and maintain technical records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in systems administration or IT support within a government or corporate environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
