Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal computer systems and networks during weekend shifts.
- Monitor system performance, security logs, and data integrity to prevent unauthorized access and breaches.
- Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and hardware repairs on government-issued equipment.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and maintenance activities in compliance with federal IT standards.
- Collaborate with the central support team to ensure continuity of service across Denver and remote locations.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments on critical government databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Experience working in a government or public sector environment (Federal/State/Local).
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory administration.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols and data privacy laws (e.g., FISMA).
