Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the integrity of federal agency networks and server infrastructure during off-hours.
- Implement and enforce stringent cybersecurity protocols to protect classified and sensitive information.
- Perform routine system diagnostics, patch management, and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Conduct security compliance audits and vulnerability assessments to meet NIST standards.
- Collaborate with on-site teams during weekday transitions to ensure seamless service continuity.
- Document technical procedures, incident reports, and system configurations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (US Citizen required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in federal, defense, or intelligence sector IT environments.
- Expert proficiency in Cisco networking, Windows Server, and Linux administration.
- Strong knowledge of federal ITIL frameworks and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the weekend shift.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
