Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal network systems and servers during weekend operations.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for internal federal staff and contractors.
- Execute scheduled security patches and system backups without interruption.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in compliance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with the on-call team to resolve critical incidents affecting federal service delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to NIST security protocols and physical security requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- US Citizenship is required for this federal role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
