Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for federal hardware, software, and network infrastructure during night shifts.
- Monitor and maintain system alerts, responding immediately to critical incidents and service outages.
- Manage and track IT service tickets (ITSM) to ensure timely resolution and client satisfaction.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and security updates in adherence to federal compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to document incidents and ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Conduct routine system health checks and report on performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Shift: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, and remote access tools (VPN, RDP).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to federal stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent military technical training.
