Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and peripheral devices for federal staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal IT security protocols, NIST standards, and agency policies.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and federal security systems.
- Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in the Service Desk system.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT asset management and inventory control.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement system upgrades and patches.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related technical role.
- Experience with federal IT environments or government contracting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and federal security clearance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
