Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to federal agency personnel, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user devices, including laptops, printers, and mobile communication equipment.
- Monitor network performance and security logs to identify potential threats or anomalies.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in accordance with federal compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct on-site training sessions to educate staff on new technologies and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
