Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust IT solutions that align with strict federal regulatory standards and requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive system analysis, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and subject matter experts, to define system architecture and technical specifications.
- Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to safeguard sensitive government data.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for internal government systems and end-users.
- Document all technical processes, create technical manuals, and maintain accurate system logs and audit trails.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis, systems engineering, or a related field within the government or defense sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Active Federal Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one prior to start date).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or SQL for data manipulation and scripting.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance frameworks, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and a keen attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
