Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure IT solutions that align with federal standards and VA regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement security controls to protect sensitive federal data.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for remote infrastructure and cloud-based systems.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and system performance.
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, and other federal security frameworks.
Qualifications
- Active Public Trust clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal IT environments or large-scale enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and virtualization tools.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and federal compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
