Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Oversee and maintain critical government servers and network infrastructure during weekend shifts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues for federal employees, including hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
- Security Compliance: Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols and conduct routine audits to ensure data protection in accordance with federal standards.
- Incident Response: Lead the technical response to system outages and data breaches with urgency and precision.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of all incidents, resolutions, and system updates for regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a government or corporate environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday - Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret Clearance.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic scripting (PowerShell or Python).
