Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure solutions for Federal and State government agencies.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP) and security protocols.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits to protect sensitive citizen data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute IT project roadmaps.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior analysts and act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Analysis, IT Project Management, or Technical Consulting within the public sector or defense industry.
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required.
- Strong proficiency in cloud computing, virtualization, and enterprise networking technologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira/Confluence tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with government officials and technical teams.
