Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal government networks, servers, and hardware infrastructure.
- Implement and enforce strict cybersecurity protocols to meet FedRAMP and FISMA compliance standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits.
- Collaborate with state and local agencies to integrate IT solutions and ensure seamless data interoperability.
- Lead technical troubleshooting and system upgrades for mission-critical applications.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and incident reports.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior IT staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or state government IT environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls.
- Experience with ITIL framework and government contracting regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
