Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents during night shift hours.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal federal networks.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to resolve critical security issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of security events and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance (required for federal roles).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network security or IT operations.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk) and firewalls.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
