Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior 2FA Specialist to lead our identity and access management (IAM) initiatives. Nexus Security protects some of the world's most critical infrastructure, and we need a technical expert to architect robust Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions that balance rock-solid security with seamless user experience.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to design authentication flows, integrate with SSO providers, and ensure compliance with global security standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable 2FA and MFA strategies across the enterprise.
- Manage and integrate SSO providers (Okta, Azure AD, Ping) and directory services.
- Conduct security audits and penetration testing on authentication endpoints to identify vulnerabilities.
- Automate security policies and access controls using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Train internal stakeholders and conduct phishing awareness workshops.
- Stay abreast of the latest authentication standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security, IT Operations, or IAM.
- Hands-on experience with 2FA/MFA solutions (Duo Security, Okta, Google Authenticator, Authy).
- Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML protocols.
- Experience implementing hardware tokens (YubiKey) and risk-based authentication.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and logging.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
