Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze federal network traffic and data streams during assigned night shift operations.
- Identify, investigate, and report security anomalies or potential threats in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations and security protocols.
- Generate detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs for audit purposes.
- Assist in the troubleshooting of legacy systems and support the deployment of new cybersecurity technologies.
- Conduct regular system health checks to ensure continuous availability of critical services.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network operations, or data analysis.
- Active Secret Clearance or willingness to undergo a government background investigation.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and SIEM tools.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
