We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to ensure the continuous operation of federal systems during off-hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal network systems and servers during the night shift.
- Respond to critical alerts and troubleshoot hardware or software failures in real-time.
- Generate and audit nightly system logs and security reports for federal compliance.
- Perform routine backups and patch management to ensure data integrity.
- Escalate complex issues to the day-shift engineering team with detailed documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols and IT policies.
- Conduct routine physical inspections of server rooms and hardware equipment.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or network administration.
- Proven ability to work effectively during Night Shift hours.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common server operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting purposes.
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for hardware maintenance.
