Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the intake and processing of federal applications and claims during weekend shifts.
- Maintain strict adherence to federal compliance standards and privacy regulations (e.g., FERPA, OPM guidelines).
- Coordinate with day-shift supervisors to ensure seamless handovers and operational continuity.
- Respond professionally to high-volume inquiries from the public via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Digitize and archive physical records in compliance with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
- Prepare and submit weekly operational reports highlighting key metrics and issues.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for upcoming federal audits and inspections.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and federal case management software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors in data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations to the public.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a high-volume office setting.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
