Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims and documentation with 99% accuracy
- Manage correspondence and communications via VA systems (VBA, VISTA)
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran outreach events and appointments
- Maintain confidential records and compliance with federal regulations
- Assist with data entry and report generation using Microsoft Office Suite
- Provide frontline support to veterans and family members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on veteran-centered initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- 1+ years administrative experience in federal/government setting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with veteran-serving organizations preferred
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week with flexible scheduling
