Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with precision
- Provide clear guidance on VA benefits programs to veterans and families
- Maintain accurate documentation in federal systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Collaborate with medical professionals for evidence review
- Conduct benefit eligibility assessments per federal regulations
- Prepare comprehensive decision letters with legal rationale
- Participate in quarterly training on policy updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in benefits administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Knowledge of 38 CFR regulations and veterans' benefits
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- U.S. citizenship and background clearance required
