Responsibilities
- Manage Weekend Operations: Oversee the end-to-end processing of federal pension claims and inquiries during weekend shifts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pension calculations and disbursements adhere strictly to Federal Retirement System (FERS) regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to federal employees regarding their pension status, direct deposits, and benefit elections.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate and secure records of all pension transactions and employee interactions within the federal database.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in pension records or claims efficiently.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Monday-Friday teams to ensure a seamless handover of weekend activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in pension administration, human resources, or a related federal support role.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with federal HR systems (e.g., HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
- Attention to Detail: Proven track record of maintaining high data accuracy and compliance standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with federal personnel.
