Responsibilities
- Process pension applications, benefit requests, and member inquiries with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and update member records in our secure state database systems.
- Assist in the preparation of statistical reports and data analysis for pension fund management.
- Communicate complex pension regulations and benefit information to members in a clear, professional manner.
- Collaborate with state agencies to ensure compliance with federal and state pension laws.
- Perform data entry and verification tasks to ensure the integrity of financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain data integrity under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) or the ability to learn proprietary software quickly.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- A valid driver's license is not required but may be beneficial for occasional travel to state facilities.
