Responsibilities
- Process and review pension benefit applications for federal employees with accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze retirement eligibility requirements under FERS and CSRS plans to determine benefit amounts.
- Provide exceptional customer service and guidance to federal retirees regarding pension inquiries.
- Maintain precise records of client interactions and financial calculations within our secure database.
- Assist in the resolution of complex discrepancies related to service credits and payroll deductions.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with federal regulations and policy updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with sensitive financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Basic understanding of government benefits, retirement plans, or actuarial concepts is a plus.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment.
