Responsibilities
- Oversee the accurate calculation and disbursement of state pension benefits and retirement packages.
- Process night shift benefit claims and ensure timely resolution of retiree inquiries.
- Conduct thorough audits of pension records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Analyze pension data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal data.
- Collaborate with the payroll and HR departments to resolve complex benefit discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration, pension management, or public sector finance.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
